Bruj International is an independent trader of prime and near-prime plastic raw materials, such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polyvinylchloride. The company was founded in Dubai by Leen Ottevanger, who already had extensive experience in the plastics industry by then. The company’s Arabic origins are reflected in the name Bruj. It is the plural of Burj, which is Arabic for ‘tower’.
Bruj International has been active in Europe since 2008 and has grown from a small and humble start-up in a living room to a successful, continuously growing and dynamic business that employs 24 people. The company currently operates from their headquarters in The Netherlands and from a regional office in Germany.
